Mia's 18 month update

Mia Grace is 18 months old now!!! She is talking all the time and saying new words, her two newest words are  "ook" meaning look and "I guck" meaning Im stuck!!  She is getting so big so fast!! At her appointment she weighed in at 25 lbs 2 oz and 32 1/2 inches long, which officially makes her to long for the infant seat we had for her!! She is such a blessing and a joy, how amazing it is to see her grow and learn!! We love you Mia!!!

Mia's Final Test Day

Today was Mia Gracie's final test day in swim. She wore a regular diaper, corduroy pants, long sleeve onesie, a zippy sweatshirt, socks and converse shoes.  She did so good!!! Jorge and I were both amazed at the progress she has made even just recently!! We were so excited for her that she knows what to do if she were to ever fall in the pool, it was the best investment we have ever made!!! We cannot thank her teacher Miss Tammy enough for giving us the peace of mind of knowing she knows what to do and teaching Mia all that she did.  Tomorrow is her final day in class and it is more of a fun day, we will be sad to say goodbye to Miss Tammy but am sure we will see her again at some point, we will definatly take all our future babies to her!!!  WE  ARE SO PROUD OF YOU MIA GRACE!!!!!!

Labor Day

We had a great time on Labor Day with the fam!!! My brother and sister came over with their families for a BBQ!!! We enjoyed some burgers and dogs and some time in the pool!!! Then off to Kohls for the girls!!!  Good fun for all!!

The Amazingness that is Mia!!!

So Mia has been taking her swim lessons for about 4 weeks now and today after her lesson she decided after she was all dressed to go get back in the pool.  Her teacher and I decided ok lets see what she does with clothes on, she did GREAT!!!  So after my dumb camera not working I finally fixed it and was able to get some of her "test" on tape!! Enjoy!!!

First time for Everything!!!

Hello Bloggers out there!!! So I recently saw a friends blog and decided what a fun idea to keep friends and family out there updated on day to day life!! So here we go, I started my own blog!!!

I know all of you out there know me but why not tell you more about myself.  My name is Cassie Ortiz, I am 26 years old.  I am married to the most amazing man in the universe, Jorge Ortiz, he is 29 years old and like I said, AMAZING!!!  My perfect little princess Mia Grace Ortiz is 16months old, she is rambunctious and keeps me on my toes. I cannot imagine my life without her!!  I feel like I am so blessed in my life and cannot wait to see what is around the corner for us!!!
